February, 2019

Well, we have survived the shortest, coldest, darkest month of the year! Everyday we have more daylight and soon flowers will begin to bloom. While most of us have been hunkered down in our warm homes (except those crazy skiers!) Debbie and I are daily impressed that ALL clubs continue to make the world a better place! We are inundated with requests for assistance with grants, attendance at new member installations, social events and community service projects.

Even though I have been a Rotarian for more than 30 years, on the drive home after an event, we marvel at this thing we call ROTARY! EVERY club, regardless of size, is making a HUGE impact on their community!

Sometimes we get lost chasing our dreams and don’t realize what we have accomplished! Since I have the floor I would like to thank each and every club and each and every member for their time, treasures, energy and passion. I am SO PROUD to be a Rotarian!

Mid-Year Meeting

We just held (I have been told) a RELEVANT Mid Year/Pre-PETS meeting. Our inspiring guest speaker, Zone Coordinator Carolyn Johnson, challenged us to take a systematic approach to growing the membership of our clubs. One key strategy: demonstrate Rotary’s value with visible service in your community.
